Because seeing your doctors is so important to your health, we want to help make doing so as easy for you as possible. That’s why VNS Health EasyCare (HMO) covers up to 11 round trips to and from approved health care facilities, or up to 22 one-way trips, during the year. 

In an emergency, always call 911.

To arrange for your rides, please call our medical transportation service directly. This reduces the number of steps it takes to arrange a ride.

Scheduling Transportation

Please call 1-877-718-4219 (TTY: 711), Monday–Friday, 8 am–8 pm, and have the following information ready:  

• Date of trip 
• Pick-up time 
• Medical office’s full street address and telephone number  
• Any special needs (for example, if you use a wheelchair)

You must arrange your trip at least 48 hours (two days) before your appointment. You can book up to 30 days ahead of time.

Returning Home

Because it’s hard to predict how long your doctor’s visit will last, you must wait until the visit is over to schedule your trip home. At that time, call 1-877-718-4219 (TTY: 711), weekdays 8 am–8 pm, and a representative will arrange the return trip for you. Most likely it will be a different driver. Please expect to wait as your driver makes their way to the medical office.

IMPORTANT: If you have an emergency and need to visit the emergency room, always call 911.
